As per the Pass Rules in Indian Railways relating to Break Journey, the following rules must be noted:
- No break journey is permitted if Pass en-route is below 500 kms.
- Only ONE break journey is permitted after 500 kms for the passes issued above 500 kms and below 1000 kms.
- Two break journeys are allowed after 500 kms for the passes issued above 1000 kms.
- Maximum of 2 days, break is allowed in a Break Journey Excluding the day of ARRIVAL and the day of DEPARTURE.
