The following are the steps to reset National Pension Scheme (NPS) Password :
- Visit National Pention Scheme website - www.npscra.nsdl.co.in
- Click on Login
- Click on - SUBSCRIBERS - NPS REGULAR
- Click on - FORGET PASSWORD
- Reset Password using secret question
- Instant Set/Reset I-PIN
If you have secret question it is better to reset password with secret question as follows
- Enter User Id (PRAN NUMBER)
- Enter Captcha
- Click on submit
- You will find secret question that you set
- Enter your answer in the box
- Click on Submit
- You will find an option to submit NEW PASSWORD
- Enter your new password
- Confirm New Password
- Click on Confirm
- Click on Submit
- Then Click on LOGIN
- LOGIN to Your Account.
If you fail to have SECRET QUESTION go for second option
Select the second option Instant Set/Reset I-PIN
- Select Generate OTP
- Enter your PRAN number
- Enter your Date Of Birth (DOB) in DD/MM/YYYY format
- Select either send OTP via SMS or E-mail
- Enter New Password
- Confirm New Password
- Enter Captche
- You will receive One Time Password (OTP) to your registered Mobile Number or Remail
- OTP must be entered within 5 minutes
- Then Click on LOGIN
- LOGIN to Your Account.
Check Your NPS Balance :
- After you LOGIN to your NPS account
- Click on Transaction Statement
- Select Transaction Statement
- Click On Generate Statement
NOW YOU CAN ABLE TO SEE YOU NATIONAL PENSION SCHEME (NPS) BALANCE
If you plan to Download the Statement, You go to top Right Corner and you can download the statement either in Excel/PDF Format
